3 things I enjoyed about The Return of the Archons
1. "Festival Festival!"
2. Costuming. First Sulu in the 18th century garb, and then Spock's "no really I am a human!" costume; for once the latter does not rely only on a knitted cap. Instead, this time he gets to wear a huge black cape!
3. There's a couple seconds at the very end, where Kirk is checking back in with the ship and Scotty is all "Sulu is back to normal" where first of all, his line reading is hilarious but even better is George Takei's SILENT SASSY FABULOSITY. OMG ILHIM.
3 things I enjoyed about Catspaw
1. SHACKLED TO THE WALLS :DDD
2. "It was very bad poetry, Captain."
3. The part where Kirk is facing off with the bad guy, who happens to be a hot chick whom he was seducing earlier. Kirk's holding the source of her power, which happens to be a stick with a jewel on the end. Spock's helpful advice at this point is "Don't let her touch the wand!"
...lololololol. I bet that's what he wants to say about all the alien vixens.
I got to admit, though, I'm still thinking about the utter gay of Bread & Circuses. GAAAAAAAAAAAY.

2/7/09 04:54 (UTC)Your icon is cracking me up. "The Omega Glory" was such an awful episode. But what made it worse, is that I read on Memory Alpha that Gene Roddenberry was so proud of his writing on this episode that he personally submitted it to be considered for an Emmy. I was just talking to my mom about this the other day, it's like, it's so damned embarrassing, but at the same time hilarious. God, the Kohms and the Yangs, Kirk patriotically recited the preamble, the American flag; the whole thing is just too much! When I was watching it recently I had to actually look away from the screen a few times because it was so embarrassing, but at the same time I was laughing my ass off.
