Imagine Fraser rapt at the curling matches!

You guys should tell me about Fraser and RayK traveling down to Vancouver to see the Olympics this year! Or at the very least, the very tense Sunday afternoon and evening in their household yesterday while they watched the USA/Canada hockey match.

--Man, you know there was no cuddling in that bed last night. Well, except by Dief.

Fraser totally would have been biting his nails all over the Canada/GB game on Saturday, while Ray sat and watched completely bemused.

I didn't see the mens' curling, but I heard it was actually pretty tense and down to the wire! After a decade plus, Fraser still tries to explain and teach it to Ray, except when the match is this exciting, he's too distracted.

OH MAN! Just, Ray cheering as loudly as possible and Fraser pointing out that the Canadians were the ones controlling the puck and that the Canadian's superior puck-handling would win out in the end.

And Fraser getting quieter and quieter until he's just all stony silence at the end of the couch and Ray's doing a victory dance all by himself.

Ray is totally a gloater, is the thing. He is not a good winner! The next time they go into town, he's gonna be rubbing it in everybody's faces.

And that's how Ray ended up on the outs with an ENTIRE TOWN full of people. It was just him and the wolf and no one else would speak to him (except Fraser but he was mostly telling him he really should apologize because in the wild north and blahblahblah danger around every blahblah never know who you might need for blahblahblah). But Ray stood his ground! He wasn't going to get intimidated by a bunch of CANADIANS, especially nto when the US beat Canada FAIR AND SQUARE. He is the right one.

Except then one of the women in town is throwing away some stale muffins and gives them to Dief and Dief defects and Ray really is all alone so he sucks it up and buys pizza the next time everyone gets together to watch curling.

Man, they are always going to be my favorites. And I love all Frasers, but pissy Fraser holds a deep and special place in my heart. (Luckily, in RayK's, too, as shown by Mountie on the Bounty!)
