Well, you know, one month isn't actually that much time, considering, right? Because they still don't have a lot of time alone or really time at all, so it's kind of in this weird still-new stage without moving on to the next bit for a long time. I think about a month is how long it is before Gerard and Mikey have a fight, though, which pisses Frank off, because the way Gerard and Mikey fight is by becoming all quiet and not really talking to each other but ALSO pretending to everybody else that there is nothing wrong and they're not mad, what are you talking about, everything's fine between them and giving you blank stares when you question them. Which, obviously, Frank has dealt with before, but it's fucking weird now, because, like - is he supposed to be taking somebody's side? How's he supposed to deal with both of them when they're not dealing with each other? He's their fucking boyfriend, dammit, he's earned the right to be in the inner circle, hasn't he? So yeah.

Oh man, I think about that a lot actually! I still think what happens next is what I discussed int he comments there with violin_road, where they're watching a movie or tv or something, together on the couch, unable to pay attention to what's going on because they're just so completely aware of the other's body right next to them. And then there's the really careful kissing, slow and deep and just barely touching anywhere, and that's all that happens that night. It's another two weeks after that before anything else happens, Gee lying in bed in the basement and hearing Mikey come home in the middle of the night from some party, and going up to him in his room, where they make out until he comes in his pants and he fingers her until she comes too, and they both fall asleep in his bed.

CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR. There is a girl out there who re-reads your fics nearly daily, and now she gets to bombard you with questions! Don't feel like you have to answer all, or any!

1. This commentfic (http://pearl-o.livejournal.com/969266.html?thread=10837554#t10837554): what happens when they go run into each other later in the night and/or head home?

2. "Gratuitous waycest porn" (is that the official title?)... a) How does Mikey know about Gee's vibrator? b) What does Gee do when Mikey leaves the room? What's going on in her head?

3. "a boat that can love... etc" & part two: Gerard insinuates that, while he and Frank have been starting to hook up, Mikey's had a thing for Frank. I am curious how it's been for Mikey, then... when did he started feeling for Frank? how has it been seeing him with Gee? ALSO/OR: how are Mikey and Gee dealing with being in sexual situations with each other?

4. "you realize the sun doesn't go down": Mikey and Pete fail at communication; does it happen again even after they officially get together? Tell me about when Pete meets Gerard again, this time not just as Naked Guy but as Boyfriend!

ahahahaha. Lemme see how much I can answer right now!

1) Well, the thing is, Gerard barely remembers it after the fact. And what he does remember, it's just another obnoxious thing he did while he was drinking. So if Mikey's bitchy or cold to him, at this point it's not totally something new, you know? And Mikey's never going to mention the actual circumstances to him or explain why he's upset.

2) a) Mikey has totally gone through Gee's drawers before, looking for that comic book she borrowed or a pack of cigarettes or whatever the fuck. That was just a surprise discovery, albeit one he proceeded to think about a lot later on (especially when his dick was in his hand).

b) After he leaves, she gets off with the vibrator, really quickly, and then falls asleep right away, before she evens finishes getting undressed or puts anything away. It's the next morning when she wakes up that she actually THINKS about things, and what just happened, and how fucked up it might be. She doesn't see Mikey for the rest of the day, and the whole time in the back of her mind she's kind of jumnping back and forth between feeling like that was the stupidest thing she's ever done and remembering tiny flashes of what was amazing about it.

I am going to think more on 3 and 4!

Okay, here's one: Pete goes to Gerard with the whole idea. How did that come about? Did Mikey tell him/ask him, or did Pete intuit and suggest the idea in the first place, or...? How did that *go*, I guess, is what I'm asking.

Definitely Mikey was not the one to bring it up with Pete. I think Pete probably brought it up while they were hanging out/fooling around/whatever, as a joke molre than anything, and something about the way Mikey reacted made him realize he had hit onto something serious for Mikey. And they sort of discussed it in the way where they talked around it but both knew what was going on, and came to the decision, I guess.

I would love to know what happens after "Sway Sweet and Slow" over Gerard and Ray's lifetimes. In the follow up it's hinted that Gerard's mental health is not so good and he's probably depressed and alcoholic - or close to it - does he ever deal with that? Do he and Ray move in together? I just really like those two stories and I'd love to hear everything about that 'verse.

I feel very strongly that that universe TOTALLY has a happy ending, where they do move in together eventually and end up staying together for forty-plus years. The Gerard's mental health is a huge obstacle, though, and I think it probably is quite a while before he actually deals with that; even after they do move in together, Gerard's ups and downs are going to be something putting a huge amount of stress on their relationship, especially if Ray feels like he should be able to fix it.

You seem to write a lot of Way brothers + One which, don't get me wrong, is awesome so I'm wondering, in general, why you see that as a workable trio like why are the Ways so easy to get into that situation? More specifically in "The Monkey On Your Back Is the Latest Trend" Ray pretty much goes along with Mikey's plans for the three of them. Do you see them having a long term thing or having it out on that night and it going back to Ray/Mikey and Gerard or maybe something else?

Oh man, that is actually hard to answer! The thing about that story specifically is that is basically glorified chat/commentfic; Imp and I wrote it tagging each back and forth without discussing motivations, and it didn't go through a rigorous editing process afterwards. It really shows through in the set-up being less effective than the porn itself, I think. In that universe, I do feel like it's set up as a long term threesome.

In general, though, I love the Way brother threesomes, but the majority of the time I think it does seem like a one time thing. The exceptions really depend on who the third person in the trio is and exactly how their relationships play out with each of the brothers. So I guess I don't think it's necessarily easy to get them into that situation, but it's something I enjoy enough to push thorugh anyway?
