Seriously, is there anyone who doesn't want to comfort Ryan Miller right now? COME HERE BB. YOUR HAREM OF ALL REDBLOODED AMERICAN HOCKEY-WATCHING WOMEN IS WAITING TO GIVE YOU WHATEVER YOU NEED.

(How amazing was that game? I was vaguely interested in hockey before. Now I am totally converted. *____*)

I think I still have a long ways to go before I could keep up with hockey live, as opposed to watching it on TV! (Although, how do you feel about baseball? Because Kelly and I are totally thinking about catching some Beavers games this season.)

I feel good about baseball! Like, I've never really been a huge fan but I really like going to games.

Hockey is so much easier to follow live than on television. You should go!

Even as a Canadian, I wasn't interested in hockey at all until these Olympics, but am now a complete convert. I FELT BAD FOR MILLER AND THE REST OF THE USA PLAYERS. THEY ALL LOOKED SO SAD. :(

I was split on who I wanted to win, but after he skated over to the side while the Canadians were celebrating, and you could tell, even with his goalie mask still down, he was crying, just broke my heart. USA just ran out of gas, and he played his ever-loving heart out. He shouldn't be ashamed for anything that happened. He and his team gave their all. Canada was just a better team today.

And, for the kinky side of things, me, Ryan and Zach Parise. Hello, nurse.

I walked downstairs and told my mother that someone should go give the American goalie a hug. I volunteer myself.

Poor Millsy :(

He looked so devastated.

and from a hockey fan, it's totally OK to hate on Sidney Crosby, the whiny, diving, shoved up our asses by the media "darling of the hockey world". GOD. I hate him even more after this. *fists of rage*

I don't know enough about hockey to actually have any opinion on Crosby, but many people whose opinions I trust seem to hate him!

I will totally consider Ryan Miller my ultimate woobie.

Until Tuesday.

When suddenly I *want* Sidney Crosby to beat him on a sweet, sweet shot.

Just. COULD YOU HAVE MISSED TODAY, SID? Jerkface.

What an intense game! I absolutely agree, it was just GOOD HOCKEY, so fast-paced and well-played. It gave all of us at the bar SMALL HEART ATTACKS when the US team scored only seconds before the game ended, but I also kind of loved it, the feeling we all had watching overtime and when we won that final goal was insaaaaaaaaaane. And Ryan Miller! So sweet! <3

Here's the craziest thing: Ryan Miller doesn't even look like a beefy hockey player. My mom and I kept calling him "Geof Manthorne from Ace of Cakes."
