Dude. No book of mine is going into the dorm bathrooms. Becuase ... ew. No.

2. What book is in your purse/backpack?
The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman. carmarthen talking about the series last week made me itch to reread.

3. What book is on your bedside table?
Cousin Kate by Georgette Heyer is there right now, but I finished it off a little bit ago. I need to go down to the library and pick up more.

4. What was the last book you lent someone?
The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman.

5. What was the last book you lent out that someone brought back to you?
Night Watch by Terry Pratchett. Mmm, Vimes...

6. What book do you have loaner copies of, solely for the purpose of foisting it on unsuspecting friends and relatives?
Dude. I'm poor. If I had money to buy books, I would be buying more for *me*, not for others.

But the ones that get pimped out most are probably Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett (ediebeedie, you have my only copy!), Doomsday Book and To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis, and Ex Libris by Anne Fadiman.

Mmm, yeah. She can do creepy quite well. I have to admit I prefer her comedy, though.
