The Hill House picnic made me cranky, and also left me still pretty hungry. I should have gone to regular dinner.

Also, boigrlwonder reminded me that all the stuff I posted earlier was a big lie, because I have a paper to write tonight, apparently, if I don't want to get a C in History of the English Language. *sigh* It's those assignments mentioned once in passing at the beginning of the semester and never again that turn out to be worth a fifth or a quarter of your grade. This is why the syllabus is your friend.

I am actually in a much better mood than this entry would suggest. But I'm also tired, so I think I am going to go off and take a nap before getting to work (and my other, fun activities).

It's for history of the english language, with Colette. It shouldn't be too hard, actually; it's just a pretty short overview of the topic I already did my presentation in class on (middle english literature).
