scrunchy and minstrelia, I got your packages today! Cait, my mother was very pleased to see the picture, and your note gave me a big happy. Stef, I haven't gotten a chance to listen to the cds yet, but I am quite looking forward to it; thank you again!

Also today, I got this pretty new icon from rosenho! This caused me to do a happy little Giles squee. It was quite unexpected.

On my third and final note of excitement: only a day and a half or so till my Super Dorky Meeting of Fun in Portland with liviapenn. She is going to attempt to introduce me to the wonders of sushi, apparently. Yay Livianess!

The rest of my week is rather anticlimactic (I've lost *track* of the number of job applications I've filled out since Friday), but it balances out, I think.

I am SO LAME

For the past month or so, I've been practically counting down the days till my paid account expired, watching the days go buy, bringing me closer to slow servers, three icons, and no polls. This very evening, I was talking with seperis and mourning with her -- "less than two weeks left, jenn!" -- over my sad, sad fate.

Then I happen to look at my user info again, and notice something. That year, right after the date there? Ends in a 4, not a 3. My paid account doesn't run out for another year.

I am SO LAME. And apparently, not the most observant cookie in the jar.

ETA: Ha! Okay, I am not an idiot after all. Some anonymous kindly-hearted soul has bought me another year's worth of lj time. Thank you *very* much, LJ Fairy! I am all kinds of grateful.
