Livia nub!

Yesterday was my exciting adventure in Portland with liviapenn! She has a fuller entry in her livejournal, but it was a kick-ass day all around. Also, day of firsts, in the following ways:

--meeting chaosraven and jic, who both seemed very nice
--my first episode of "Due South" ever
--my introduction to sushi! They went around on a train for you to grab, which, you know, is exciting for the very dorky. And Livia guided me in the ways of eating it. It was pretty good, I think, but it's kind of all merged together in my mind. Also, man do I suck at chopsticks.

There was also checking out Livia's school and a bunch of really hot walking around and playing in a park. (Livia is very good at taunting both small children and small dogs. She does not hesitate to use her height as a weapon.) And there was discussion of Smallville and X2 and Altville and gossip about random other slashers. Also, I somehow gained the nickname "Pearlho". Yeah, I don't know either.

See, now I just need to get my job, so I can afford to go into Portland more often.
