Ha, for this one I actually took notes while I was watching. I am very very dorky.

Things that make me go *heart*:

+ Ray's tattoo and upper arms
+ Bobbing for trout
+ Ray dancing alone in his apartment
+ The conversation about the broken bottle
+ 72 hours with a caribou carcass
+ The repetition of the conversation from BdtH
+ "Nice to meet you, Ray Kowalski" and handshake
+ "Although in his youth, Diefenbaker did demonstrate a keen interest in horticulture."
+ Ray's glasses (!!!)
+ "Obviously you weren't fully briefed"
+ The way Ray seems to begin to get actually interested in Fraser's eagle feather story
+ Fraser being snarky about Ray's shooting
+ Bad-ass shooting Ray
+ Glasses hanging off Ray's face
+ The entire part with Gladys
+ "Do you find me attractive?" sequence
+ "But I am acquainted with loss and, occasionally, loneliness."
+ The beginning of the flashback
+ "I was a con job then and I'm a con job now"
+ Fraser's speech about Ray's history and being proud to have him as partner and friend
+ "Lend me some money?" "Money and friends don't mix, Ray."
+ Welsh, Fraser and Dief with birthday hats

Questions:

+ Do the dates Fraser says for Ray's history match at all with the dates in Ladies Man? Or do the dates in Ladies Man just not work with anything (in Easy Money he says he dropped out of college to go to the academy, right)?
+ Is Fraser apologizing to running into statues as the eclipse leaves?

Yeah, really not so fond of this episode -- very low on my list of seasons three and four as a whole, I think. Still, though, pretty much every episode has things that hit my squee factor.

Things that make me go *heart*:

+ Fraser knocking on the mirror and Ray's response
+ Fraser in the scene in the interrogation room with Bruce
+ Cute nervous first day Frannie
+ ooh, I didn't know Ray had glasses in this episode! With the flippy frames!
+ Frannie's *allure*
+ "I could do that. I choose not to."
+ The way Fraser throws himself down to sleep
+ Fraser and Ray wrestling with the sleeping bag for the phone

Other notes:

The music for the climax is a really odd choice. And everybody gets clean and dry really quickly at the end, huh?

Next up, Strange Bedfellows. Wheee, Ray marriage angst.
