1) Arrested Development is still an amazingly awesome show. In case you, you know, were living under a rock.

2) Meg Cabot's voice is exactly the same in pretty much all of her books. This is okay, because the fact that Heather Wells sounds exactly like all her teenage narrators except for the sex-having doesn't make it any less incredibly enjoyable.

3) Age of Bronze: A Thousand Ships is pretty cool. Mmmmmm, Trojan War. *orders second volume from amazon*

4) Sleater-Kinney is going on "indefinite hiatus". WAAAAAAAAAAAH.

5) The heat has broken here, oh frabjous day, calloo, callay!

6) You're pretty.

7) This morning my alarm didn't go off. I like up fifty minutes later and stared at horror at the time. It was set for the right time -- am, not pm. The alarm was turned on. And yet, it didn't wake me up. There was no noise coming from it at all. The only explanation I can think of for this is that it went off, I turned it off, and then turned it back on, but I am 99% sure that didn't happen. When I set it for two hours later, it went off perfectly, and I didn't miss that class.

I have reached s2 on my marathon! Arrested Development really does reward multiple viewings. The first episode of s2, "The One Where Michael Leaves", spoilers )

Also, in the special features for season 1, Jason Bateman and Will Arnett are kind of really gay for each other.

The One Where They Build a House )

Other things: uh, the dialogue dubbing is seriously way obvious most of the time. And on second viewing, Michael is really kind of a big jerk.

Edited to add: You quaff the potion marked 'F/F'. It tastes like aeryn sun.
