More about the cuddly boys in bands

Doing more reading this evening, and I mentioned to Zee about ANOTHER one of the perks of choosing this for my fun reading fandom is the easy access to all the sweet underage stuff! And this came up:

pearl_o: also, you know, re: underage -- i think it says something quiting touching of how pure my ds love is that i've been this passionate and devoted to it for this long despite it's almost complete lack of my biggest button.

pearl_o: also, it's kind of hilarious that at this point, mostly people probably know me FROM ds fandom, and know nothing about my penchant for sullen teenage boys.
ficbyzee: yes! it is hilarious!
pearl_o: *eyes you* are you making fun of me?
ficbyzee: ...no?
pearl_o: hee, okay!
ficbyzee: um. actually not.
ficbyzee: sarcasm and honesty sound similar on the internet!

Seriously, it is funny! Because, uh, I'm not really all that subtle about it, but it just hasn't come up that often in the fannish contexts I've been in lately. Heh.

(Back in the day for me being, like, 2003. I realize for lots of you back in the day means, like, 1997. Or, I don't know, back when there were zines and dinosaurs roamed the earth.)

new icon PLUS question!

Dearest friends list of mine,

I do not own the Twitch City dvds yet -- which is sad, but hopefully will be corrected when I have money. Except that won't be for months and months and months. So I come asking you guys for information. I know where the usual place to get downloads of the show is, and have done so in the past, but right now I'm really looking for better quality source. Do any of you have episodes available from the dvds? Or know of somewhere I can get some? I would be very grateful!
