You know what always makes me feel better? Posting random pictures of pretty people. It makes EVERYTHING shiny!

Here are some David Tennant and Doctor Who related pictures that live in my computer:

Lots of pictures, duh )

Remember how I was saying earlier about how picspam makes everything better? [livejournal.com profile] kristiinthedark is proving my point as we speak with her Callum picspam. Focusing on his PRETTY moments, as opposed to the equally hot rugged manly Callum. Make sure to look through the comments, too, because people contributed!

One of the things that is really *so* interesting to me about fandom is that, you know, for most of us, this is all stuff we know already, stuff we've seen before, conversations we've had already -- and yet, it doesn't get old. Or if it does, it takes a long while. I mean, yes, picspams are great when you are getting into a fandom, because SQUEE IT IS ALL NEW, but ... man, the pleasures of going over the same thing with your equally obsessed friends over and over again is not to be discounted. (See the panel at Muskrat Jamboree where we all did nothing but cry out really gay moments from due South! Not one original thing was said, but it was one of the awesomest parts of the entire con.)

Secondly, I think all of you need a T-shirt that not only shows you have awesome taste in comic books, but also that you like guys making out. Achilles and Patroklus, everybody!

My sister's rewatching Mountie on the Bounty; my oh my are those boys handsome. One might even say delectable. I'm curious on the fannish consensus on something, though: before they leave for Sault Ste Marie, Fraser has the line saying "We're still partners then?" Famous exchange in CotW if the "partners?"/"If you'll have me" -- is that deliberate or meaningful echoing there? Or do you think it's just demonstrating that they are big giant girls, only without adequate communication skills?
