First real day of work COMPLETED. I am not a sammich queen yet, but I am least a sammich apprentice?

I worked from 4am to 1pm, with a one hour lunch in the middle. You guys, I am not used to standing up continously for 8 hours, let alone doing so in nice (not sneaker) shoes. TRIAL BY FIRE, YO. I'm sure this week will be hell on my feet, but I'm pretty sure it's one of those things you just have to get used to; after a couple days it should be much easier.

Since I was at work, I missed the sign up for DS MATCH, but ignazwisdom agreed to sign me up and is thus my heeeeeeeeeeero. Yay! Team Angst 4 EVAH, you guys! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Did you SEE who we've got on our side? nos4a2no9 is captaining! We have Sprat and omphale23 and Aerye and Kat freaking Allison! And with me, that's just 6 out of the 18. That is only ONE THIRD of our awesome!

You know, I almost didn't bother reading Agnes and the Hitman, because I was so disappointed by Don't Look Down, but I'm a little over halfway through now, and it's actually pretty awesome. Thumbs up!

(Using this icon for this entry actually reminds me of something, which is that I got a package from fox1013 yesterday, which along with Big Brother episodes and YA novels and a "Vote Petrelli" button and ComicCon random swag, also included this stuffed Giant Microbe. Which meant as soon as I got onto AIM yesterday, I had the opportunity to IM Fox and say "YOU GAVE ME SYPHILIS!" For the WIN.)
