thanks! and picspam!

So it's (American) Thanksgiving, which means I'm gonna get all sappy and teary-eyed for a second here, all right? I'm thankful for my family and for my health and for school and for all the gifts I have in my life, but what I really want to say here is how grateful I am for fandom. You guys. YOU GUYS. I can't even imagine what my life would be like without you, but I am guessing it would include being much lamer.

I am thankful to due South fandom, because it was the warmest, caringest, cuddliest place ever, and I met three million awesome people there, and it makes me believe in TRUE LOVE and HAPPY ENDINGS, and Fraser will always live at the very top of my heart, forever and ever amen.

I am thankful for bandom, because every day since I got into it is a wonder full of JOY and GLEE and FLAILY HANDS and EXCITEMENT. It's like living in candyland, only nobody ever gets a stomach ache and has to throw up. I'm thankful for all the new people I'm meeting here, who make me laugh until I'm sick, like pre_emptive and missmollyetc and blondiusmaximus and almost every single person on wolfshirts.

I am thankful for ficbyzee and etben because they help keep me something like sane. I am thankful for fox1013 and hobbledehoy because they help take care of me when I'm not.

Watching Seven Brides for Seven Brothers with my family, as is our yearly family tradition. Aside from thinking about HOW INCREDIBLY AWESOME THIS MOVIE IS, I am forced to think: bandom AU, y/y? Gabe is definitely Adam Pontipee, the brothers are mixed between FOB and MCR (the condition of that house is practically MCR canon!) and Panic are definitely all the girls in town that get kidnapped. I can't quite figure out Milly, though. Patrick? Frank? Help me out.
