+ Powell's, how I love you! We only stayed there for a few minutes, but just being there is refreshing. Mmmm, boooooooks.
+ Bought a new Discworld novel at the comic book store
liviapenn dragged me to across town. One I'd never read before, too (Moving Pictures). Score! I also looked through the Authority comic books, but I decided against it (though if they'd had a graphic novel, I probably would have gone for it).
+ At the Apartment of Solitude, I restrained myself both from looking through all of Livia's desktop files, OR updating her journal with a dorky message along the lines of "Ha ha ha, I am Livia and I am a big dork!" Livia did not seem to properly appreciate my efforts.
+ Detour to Livia's school so she could show me the crazy Japanese ping pong-ness. Wackiness, man.
+ Met
shellah, which was quite nice and fun. We all went and had giant burritos for supper, and then came back to the aprtment and watched "the good bits" of Sweet November. MR has sexy arms.
+ Livia also showed me more Due South. See, what I forget about my giant reading-fandoms-I-don't-know plan everytime is, afterwards I *want* to know more. See: Sports Night, *Nsync, Everwood, Sentinel, etc. So after all that reading, now I wanted to actually, you know, see the show. So she showed me two more episodes tonight (both with Ray K, whom I'd never seen; his voice was actually quite different than I expected).
Apparently Livia is showing the episodes to me in order of descending woobieness, as well, which I must say shows a keen insight into my character, as I am a big giant WHORE for emotional vulnerability. Last time: Victoria's Secret; this time: The Ladies Man and Bounty Hunter.

coolness
9/8/03 20:45 (UTC)Re: coolness
9/8/03 22:50 (UTC)That'd be fabulous, but it might be hard to work around my schedule... pretty much the only workable day would be Friday, or Wednesday (and on Wednesday, only early in the day and I'd have to leave around 5pm. And by "leave" I mean "be dragged away from the comic books kicking and screaming." :D )
But I'd love to help you sort out your stuff. :)
