I found this site when I was wandering around looking for books to read earlier; it seems very convenient and handy.

I've been switching around my Sports Night dvds willy-nilly as I rewatch episodes. The last few episodes of the series, the very beginning of season 1, the ones with Danny's nervous breakdown. I'm all over the map.

One of the annoying things about trying to write in a fandom you haven't been obsessive over since it began is that you never quite know the total cliches, or what's been done so well or so badly it never needs to be done again.

Tomorrow is the first day of school. My little sister is starting high school! It almost brings a tear to my eye. Ah, memories. Plus, the oldest foster brother (3rd grade) will be out of the house during the day. Three kids are easier to deal with than four.

ETA: I don't remember if I ever announced that I got this icon over at Pretty Pieces of Paper. But, uh. I did! Mm, giving credit.

that's really hard to do with the archive being down and all. turns out the stories are there, some links to a search below. may find more later.

these are the few stories I could scrounge up at short notice:

Amirin's Sports Night page.

Em Brunson started what was just about the best SN story ever, but alas it was never finished. still a good read. http://www.ebrunson.com/janissa/ though the format sucks. (She wrote some wicked Babylon 5 stories, too)

this is a little gem I found, webisodes!

Mona's sports night page was quite good--but she permanently vacated a few years ago, gave away all her stories for personal use only and disappeared. But I've discovered a new toy-- www.archive.org they've got most of the internet cached somewhere, and you can search for deceased web pages! Several expired treasures have been located.

I'm going to go through and see what I can find, but if you want to search yourself, her webpage was http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Studios/1126/SN.html

I'd be happy to read over and comment on anything. SN was about the first fandom I got into at the beginning, live! on tv! stage. LOL.

I've actually read quite a lot of SN; it's just the difference between being in a fandom and looking at what's come out of it seperately, I guess.

Thank you for the links!

Oh, see, I don't think that's bad. It's more like a kind of freedom.

Hmm. That *is* a nicer way of looking at it.
