Fandom knowledge gained from my friends list:

The O.C.: The teenage boys are oh-so-gay and cute; my friends list loves it; it stands for 'the Orange County'.

Stargate: Space; aliens; difficulty setting them up for the hot sex in fanfiction because of military regulations.

Queer As Folk: Gay boys have a lot of sex.

La Femme Nikita: Um. It's out on DVD. It's ... noirish?

Highlander: Immortals live a really long time; the one guy was in X2 for three seconds.

Andromeda: Something to do with space and bone spurs.

The X-Files: There was kissing between Mulder and a one-armed dude; the creator is an ass; everybody's really bitter.

Batman: Not anything like the 60s TV show, except for the gayness, but instead is in fact, dark and edgy; multiple Robins.

Alias: There are spies; also, Noel from Felicity's wife, who is much hotter than she was on Felicity.

General Hospital: There's a big gay storyline. And possibly mobsters.

Lotrips: There are a lot of superkerr-azy Domlijah people with conspiracy theories.

Haha, I love you.

You'd like Andromeda, seriously. At least I think you would. The final ep of last season was So With the Big Tragic Gay. And it's shiny!

Man, I forgot a couple more I was going to do.

Lawrence of Arabia: Really really really good; even the director thinks it's gay!

and

The West Wing: Really really really good; the president has MS!

We are. We really are. And apparently we're not doing a very good job of hiding it. Um. Probably because we're not trying. Damn you, Chris Carter!

The oldtime fans' bitterness is one of the first things you pick up, hanging around, man. It's kind of scary.

Our bitterness truly knows no bounds. It is universal. And huge. But mostly harmless.

It amuses me that you're certain of the Big Gay, but not so certain of the presence of mobsters. :)

Well, and it also shows just how misguided the show's writers are, that *they* haven't picked up on things the way you have. Hee. :)

I didn't mean to imply otherwise! Although, I didn't actually remember the character at all from the first time I saw the movie.

Well, um. I wasn't really looking at him either, at the time. I was too interested in Kurt and the bamf!
