One would *think* that the whole dialect word thing going around would be happy Erica time, but one would be wrong. (One is always wrong. One is apparently the stupidest of numbers.) I mean, I love my linguistic data, but ... this isn't really data, it's just random surveys. So I squint at go "Yeah, and? So? I spent a semester on this kind of thing, and it was much more interesting then."

Now, if someone wrote a dorky little article and made graphs and charts and things all about all the different data? I'd be all over it.

I meant these specific surveys and stuff, taking into account the self-selecting fandomness and stuff along with the regionalness. Just general regional dialect stuff, like I said, I've studied before.
