stuff I miss

You know, I'm enjoying Smallville season three as much or, really, all around *more* than I did in the first two seasons -- but there's still stuff I miss, various plotlines and characters written out, abandoned or ignored.

Things I miss:

--Nell. She had all around potential, but especially all the stuff about her relationship with the Luthors.
--Lex's embezzlement and -- what was it, a particle accelerator?
--I realize Livia is correct on all her points about how the Lionel-Martha stuff made Martha into the biggest idiot ever, but I really enjoyed it anyway.
--Pete's crush on Chloe. Apparently Pete is *really* repressed, yo.

Sigh. I miss that too. (I bet everyone is really not surprised by that)

I thought Pete/Chloe had such charming potential! But instead we got all the Chloe/Clark, which, um. I found less charming.

Chloe/Clark was so very much not charming. I actually found it kind of squicky.
