This is now the second or third night in a row I have stayed up way, way too late watching Olympics coverage. I can't help it! It's like crack! Sweet, sweet crack.

I'm not sure when men's gymnasts and women's synchronized diving became so exciting to me. It's kind of freaky.

Some of the swimming races *were* really cool, though. Although all of them except the men's 200m freestyle have now merged into one of my head.

I think I'm gaining a ever-larger crush on Ian Thorpe, though. And Michael Phelps really *does* wear those suits low. Man.

Ahh Thorpie. He's such a sweetie. And a kick arse swimmer. We're very proud.

I particularily liked this (http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2004/08/17/rhs_thorpe_narrowweb__200x326.jpg) picture from the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald...

And for good reason. He's super-hot. For me, I think it has something to do with how big he is, and how sleek he looks in that wetsuit. Mmmm.

As for Michael Phelps's low suit, I'm always kind of worried that he'll bend over and show off more than he intended. Okay, maybe I'm not so much "worried" as I am "concerned that the camera won't be at the right angle to catch it." Heh.

Seeeriously. I kept checking to see if they were slipping off.
