So the sister and I just finished watching "Some Like it Red" -- there are still large stretches of season 2 I haven't seen yet, you know, and this was one of those episodes. So, yay, for enjoyment and new-for-me-ness.

I find myself, though, left mostly with two primary impressions:

1. Those were some damn slashy Catholic schoolgirls.

2. Um, okay, so Fraser? Changing in the back of the car? With the make-up and the rumpled hair?

Guh. I'll be in my bunk.

I do think I need dvds, though, given both that the tapes I have are getting old and touchy, and that I'm not even sure if I'll have tv at school. Maybe if I manage to find work in Olympia I can save up. Hmm.

ohjesus, yeah. you know, I'm not usually so much with the boys-in-makeup deal, but ineke has this icon of him from that scene, with the slightly-smeared lipstick, paired with his suspenders and shirt, that just makes me pause and stare every time I see it. So. Yeah. Right there with you on this one. Guh.

dude, the first time I saw that icon I thought it was a manip. Which just goes to show you again how cool our show is; boys in make-up, buddy breathing, riding off together into the horizon -- other people have to *work* for that stuff.
