Okay, so I've had the same wallpaper pretty much since I got the new computer (two months, wow) and it's very pretty, but I'm getting a little bored with it. However, I didn't bother to save and transfer any of the pretty things I had saved on the old computer. I know I had some things from thete1 that I went and found again; I was also thinking poisoninjest and katemonkey, but those seem less with the me able to find.

So. Where are good places to look for good fannish wallpapers? I like due South, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, LotR, Keira Knightley, Callum Keith Rennie, just about anyone or anything represented in my user info and lj icons. Advice?

Plus, there aren't many there -- I was trying to, like, get a job using them, and, strangely, a bunch of pictures of Britney Spears doesn't get you hired.

callumkeithrennie.net has lots of wallpapers. I don't normally like fannish wallpapers and I actually like some of those.

Hmm, yeah, I've looked there before and not found anything that I really adored. Maybe I'll try again, though.

I tend to just use a good clear screencap -- I had one from HCL for a very long time, the one where Billy's staring at Joe in Bucky's kitchen. My icon is cropped from it.

Right now I'm using a cap from Spy vs. Spy, because I'm all about the dorky blue sunglasses. Mmmm.

Mmm, yeah, screencaps are of the good, too. Though they don't have quite the same "filling the whole screen, woo"ness to them. Or when they do, they're kind of oddly twisted for me, at least.

And, um, I mostly totally don't remember at all. I used to have lots of your Smallville ones, but I'm in a happy Buffy place now, and the only two I remember having were one of Angelus, Darla, Dru and Spike and another of Willow and Tara dancing.
