So. Saturday night, not much going on. Time to play the "make up ludicrous scenarios and try to justify them" game!!!

Come on. It's fun. You know you want to play. I'll start, even.

First we head over to the dS random pairing generator. Then we click around and put on our crackbrain hats till we find a pairing to make up an imaginary story about.

Here's three from me:

Buck Frobisher/Gerrard

Well, there's no reason why not, I suppose. Before the, you know, murdering days. In their youth, young and Mountie-y and still idealistic, even. They could totally have some sort of assignation. (I don't think they were ever connected together, but there's no reason to think that they weren't both friends with Bob and with each other. All of them could have been younger together.)

Maggie Mackenzie/Gerrard

Another pre-Bob's death one. Young new Mountie having affair with way older experienced Mountie! Oh, it's a sad tale. Even when it doesn't end with the one guy murdering the person who ends up being your father a couple years later.

Benton Fraser/Benton Fraser

Okay, I can't think of any way to actually make them have sex together, necessarily. But hmmm, some kind of crazy time travel or dimension-crossing could occur, right? And the Fraser-in-his-right-place-and-time will have to question and feed and care for the Fraser-who's-not. And I'm sure there will be lots of talking and arguing and being wigged out but not showing it. And disconcerting attraction could definitely fit in there as well.
