A brief indication of Canon Het Pairings of My Heart:

Zoe/Wash (Firefly)
Margot/Richie (The Royal Tenenbaums)
Luke/Grace (Joan of Arcadia)
Curtis/Hope (Twitch City)
Natalie/Jeremy (Sports Night)
Taran/Eilonwy (Chronicles of Prydain)
Sam Vimes/Lady Sybil Vimes (Discworld)
Henry II/Eleanor of Aquitaine (Lion in Winter)
James/Cecy and Kate/Thomas (Sorcery & Cecelia books)
Buttercup/Westley (Princess Bride)
Xander/Cordelia (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Lisa/Dave (Newsradio)
Christopher/Milly (Chrestomanci books)
Lord Peter Wimsey/Harriet Vane (Dorothy Sayers novels)

There are more of varying intensity, I'm sure, but these come up off the top of my head. Actually, the Discworld one is probably the closest thing I have to an OTP in the classic sense of the acronym -- I seriously cannot read any sort of Vimes fic without being sure it doesn't mess with the pairing; Vetinari/Vimes fic, the most common alternative, makes my tummy hurt and makes me wail "But Lady Sybil!"

Also, putting the (rather embarrassing) Newsradio one up there reminds me: DVDs for first and second seasons finally have a release date again! May 2005, baby.

Pfft on embarrassment. Like who you like, darlin'.

Taran and Eilonwy rock. Must reread those books SOON. Like when I finish rereading the Wimsey collection, which I'm three books into now :-)...

I've always thought that Susan Cooper's Bran and Jane might have gotten together. Post-Pendragon, of course.

Heh. Honey, I'm obviously not embarrassed enough to not have it up there, right?

I actually have never read Susan Cooper. Good?

If you liked Prydain, you'll probably like the Dark is Rising sequence too; they're just as dark and myffic, dontcherknow. I can still remember most of the Grey King's rules for Welsh pronunciation, although my personal favourite is probably still Greenwitch on account of its Jane-specific focus.

Also, Newsradio DVDs?! Does that mean I finally, finally get to watch the whole "Dave is a spy from Canada" episode again? *squees and runs about in small, crazy circles*

Well, this is just the first two seasons -- I can't, unfortunately, remember what episodes were in which seasons anymore, dammit.

I actually have never read Susan Cooper. Good?

On the day of the dead when the year too dies
must the youngest open the oldest hills.
There fire shall fly from the raven boy
and the silver eyes that see the wind
and the Light shall have the harp of gold.
(The mountains are singing and the Lady comes.)

*cough*

not that i was obsessed with focussed on those books as a kid or anything, no.

When Light from the Lost Land shall return
Six Sleeper shall ride, Six signs shall burn
And when the Midsummer tree grows tall
By Pendragon's sword the Dark shall fall.

...Yeah. Not that I understand and completely identify with your childhood obsess- er, extreme focus, or anything. Nuh-uh.

Not one bit.
