So fox1013 got mentioned in nostalgia_lj's big anonymous rage thread. Which is amusing, in the "hee, BNF! *points*" sort of way. And is also cute, just because Fox gets so much out of these sort of things. And now she can lord it over everyone and we can be jealous of her and her importance and how *we* have never been featured in one of those things, hmmph.

It did get me thinking, though, about the random assumption I tend to have, about there being the core group of friends who like me, and then the much larger group of people who don't give a shit about me either way. I mean, I'm low-key and not particularly loud or controversial, so it's not like I have a band of 'die die die' people, but it seems unlikely that there aren't people who have achieved a strong dislike for me anyway. But, you know, I don't know why, and I'm curious.

So, out of pure curiosity, I want to throw open this entry for criticism. It can be of my lj (maybe I think I'm cuter than I am, or use annoying infantile words) or my fic (maybe it's overrated, or maybe I write virginal porn). It can be polite-or-not as you want, constructive-or-not as you want. You can do it even if hate me, or if you actually pretty much like me. (Dude, if you feel bad about posting, you can even mix it half and half with nice things to say.)

So, yes. IP logging off, go forth and comment anonymously. I don't plan on responding to any of it (though, to be fair, I probably will spend a whole lot of time bitching about it to my friends tomorrow, if this works).

Dude, I heart you. There are occasional conflicts over non-fandom stuff, but that happens with most people. And yeah, you write virginal porn, and sometimes it's a little too...sex from someone who's only read about it...but it's still good and everyone's experience is different, so I'm sure there are people who have sex like that.

I think you are an exceptionally talented writer, and seem to have a wickedly funny sense of humor. I like you a lot! More than that, I admire your talent.
The only time I am less than delighted in when you post is when you seem very, very young to me (you know, excessive squeeage or OMG WTF posts, or an extra helping of Jaded!Youth). But that's because I am very, very old, and it only points out our age difference. This is by no means a complaint, and in fact others on my friends list often post things that I just don't get, or don't have interest in. But the fascinating thing is that your fic writing is so damn good - and so mature, that I sometimes forget how young you actually are, compared to me.
