Multi-fandom incest drabbles. Very timely, of course, between the anonymous hate thread (writing fictional incest in any matter whatsoever is both SICK and WRONG and even EVIL) and what I understand to be the exciting television spoilers of this week. So far the comments appear to include A Series of Unfortunate Events, Firefly, Star Wars, and one I'm not familiar with.

I told geekturnedvamp, who has a rec page just for incest stories, that she'd better go see A Series of Unfortunate Events quickly. The girl who plays Violet is just gorgeous, isn't she?

Oh, yes, indeed; she's really lovely. And I was really surprised, watching the movie, by how much subtext there was for them -- I start thinking about it, half-jokingly, halfway through, and then it kept getting *stronger*.

For the record? Simon/River is almost canon in my mind. Joss has always got a weird incest-thing going on in his shows, and those two are all twisted together. I can't even read fic that has one of the paired with someone else. River is Simon's entire world. Even when he flirts with Kaylee or stares at Mal- it's still all River underneath it. As for River... well, not much needs to be said there, does it?
