I'm pretty sure everybody with the slightest interest in due South fandom already knows that dsudis has posted her hockey AU, but I need to link and rec it right now anyway.

Hawks and Hands, 1152k, NC-17.

First: it's just as good as everybody's going to be saying it is. Honestly? It's better. I was anticipating a hell of a lot from this story, because it's Dira, and she writes beautifully, and she's been working on this for a year, and the hype and suspense has been building all that time, and -- dude. It's better than you could expect/hope/wish for. Hockey and sex and love and violence and plot and and and and and--

I am actually flailing around in a very dorky manner right now, just thinking about it. It's an incredible accomplishment all the way around, and this universe is going to be living in my head for ages.

If I'm really good and work really hard, I want to write like Dira when I grow up. *fangirls hardcore*
