schmericaThe character love meme that's going around. I'm sure there'll be a pairing variation eventually, if there isn't one already.
1. The first character you first fell in love with:
a. dS: Fraser. Shut up -- Livia showed me Victoria's Secret first; I was doomed from the start.
b. VMars: Veronica! I love you!
c. Firefly: Oddly, it was probably Kaylee. Huh. The River fixation came later.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
a. dS: Ray Vecchio, definitely. That love really just sneaks up on you and whomps you until you're forced to say "Dude! Vecchio!"
b. VMars: Damn you, Logan Echolls. I didn't want to like you, dammit! Bastard. Also, the more I see of Lilly, the more I adore her.
c. Firefly: I HATED Mal for the first few episodes. Somewhere around "Out of Gas", that started to fade, until now I can't imagine not loving him.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
a. dS: I actually do like most of the characters on the show, really. I'm not sure the ones I don't like are all that popular -- Mark Smithbauer is an asshole, and not in the appealing way; Turnbull bores me silly; third season Thatcher is much less interesting than her previous season counterpart.
b. VMars: ...Actually, I pretty much like everybody on VMars so far. Except Duncan, but I don't think very many people do like him.
c. Firefly: Jayne. Bah.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
a. dS: Hmmm. There's Frannie -- she has a following, but also quite a lot of indifference or dislike. But I adore her madly. And I think Stella is turned into this weird Uber-Bitch-from-Hell to a lot of fans, which is both boring and not fair to her character.

fox1013, and reading some of Jenny O's and Sheila's back entries. So I have no idea who is hated. Wallace? Keith Mars? Pretty much all the main characters are dug by me.
c. Firefly: Inara, maybe? I didn't like her my first run-through, but she grew on me, especially by the time I saw "Trash."

c. Firefly: Wow, I'm really sucking at this question. I seem to be bizarrely fixed in my affections. I think I used to be more interested in Simon than I am now.
