So I was really bored the last hour or so -- con weekend + Oscar night = dead friends list -- so I went to entertain myself by playing around with my journal style. As one does.
Boxer is pretty, Opal has its good points, but I realize I can't figure out how to disable the new comment pages on either of them, and I have this thing about liking the classic comment page -- especially since I post fic in my journal. So, okay, I figure I'll just go back to my original style, the one I've had for the last couple months.
Except now, when I go back to edit the customizations, I figure out the comment thing is suddenly gone from a sturdy gesture too. Actually, as I check through different styles looking for one, it turns out that no matter what style I click on, the customizations I'm getting are the ones for the Boxer style. I've closed and restarted my browser several times; I logged out of livejournal and back into it again. No luck: the customization options remain those for the Boxer style, which I'm not using, and my comments remain ugly and hard-to-navigate.
Boo.
