Whatever I did to make the internet gods unhappy, I apologize a thousand times. Just give me back my internet! PLEASE.

Um. I am updating from one of the school computer labs, to make the above paragraph make sense. They only had macs left, and it's kind of freaky me out. Also it says I can't check my gmail account on this server. It's very sad.

Seriously, though, I have no idea what's up with my personal connection. When I went to the bathroom at six am, I checked my email before I went back to sleep; it was fine then. I woke up three hours later, and NOTHING. Not even the UO home page, which generally you can get to even when everything else is gone. My ethernet cord is attached to both the laptop and the wall. I AM CONFUSED AND SAD.

I am now going back to my room to stare accusingly at my computer get homework done before class.

ETA: IT CAME BACK! SQUEEEEEEE! Apparently my highly technical steps of "restarting it until it does something" actually WORKED!

I fucking HATE THAT SHIT. I'm within one room of an online computer basically from when I wake up to when I go to sleep. It's like my hard drive. If I'm somewhere that I can't google the name of an actor in a movie I remember, or look up some random question that pops into my head, I feel bereft. If that place is in my home, it drives me up the wall. So, um, sympathy.
