One paper was finished in the middle of the night last night and turned in this morning, after a refreshing four hours of sleep. One down, two more to go. Class is tomorrow at 2pm, which means I have 18 hours to write 8 pages. That's ridiculously doable (even as lost as I am for the disgusting Scandinavian one), as long as I don't fool around and waste three-quarters of that time.

I work based on an elaborate reward system -- showers, short naps, and most of all, checking my email and lj are all used as carrots on a stick in front of me. Therefore, I beg you: feel absolutely, positively free to leave commentfic, or pretty pictures, or funny stories, or really just anything at all inspiring in my comments here to greet me and prop me up during my little five minute breaks.

Alternatively, you could just send over more and more huge supplies of Coke to get me through this, but that strikes me as rather unlikely.

*sends, uhm, positive thoughts for paper-writing and Fraser/Kowalski distraction-y thoughts*

Mmmmmmmm, F/K.

I have had to be poking myself really hard this week to keep from drifting off and trying to write fic. Which I'm sure means as soon as finals are over, I'll lose all interest in doing anything of the kind.

you are good!

i am final projecting, which is equally crazy. i might send you an ecard next time i am procrastinating. not that i will procrastinate. i am actually unhooking from the interweb, just so that it goes away, soon.

I need to find a perfect balance between procrastinating and work. I am not good at this.

I'm not sure if this counts as a funny story, but this website (http://www.missionhillpersians.com/shaving.htm) has some of the creepyfunniest pics I've seen in a loooooong time.

Yes. But sometimes it's nice to be reminded that one's own hobbies are not the weirdest thing out there. There's always someone stranger.

*ponders how late Safeway is open to procure these huge supplies of Coke, as she is not doing anything productive for herself and may as well do something productive for you*

I did! And I did a little dance! It was the dance of "wheeeee, I don't have to hitchhike across the state next week!

I am totally logged into the wrong username, but I am too lazy to change. Heh.

I shall provide you with A Scene From a Fic I Will Never Finish Writing.

*smiles adoringly*

"Oh, Falconer!" gasped Teddy, shuddering into another orgasm. "Ever since you died nine years ago, your ghost has been the only thing keeping me happy."

Falconer smiled at her. He looked just the same as he always had. Except for the giant gaping hole where his heart should have been, at least.

Teddy understood. That part was Jack's now.

Good luck with your paper, darling!
