As for fandom happy, forgive the following if you don't SG:A. But these two stories recently made me squeal out loud before leaving me really breathless, and whether it's the pr0n or the knife-sharp writing is something I still can't figure out:

The secret lives of scientists (http://yearningvoid.net/stories/julad/000082.html) by julad is a winner all the way. I was a waffler before, but this story really pulled me into the fandom. (Mmmmmm, new fandom smell!)

20,000 leagues under the sea (give or take) (http://www.anyroad.org/merry/leagues.html) by merryish, basically activates my bioGEEKalert and never lets up from there. Story comes with poseable pretty boys and purple shrimp on the side. *hearts muchly*

Yeah, I just wanted to talk about Fraser's bandaged THIGH. I actually *got up* to get my dvds so I could stare at it. Then I made a few screen caps because, really, the key part of that scene is when Fraser's adjusting his leg on the pillow, like so:



Plus I seem to have caught Ray mid-inadvertent puffin face in the middle ones.

If your people are looking squeezed, try poking around in your screen cap preferences (if you have them). There are different settings for aspect ratio, like "current window" or "source." I have mine on "current window" and everyone looks fine, as Fraser's thigh can attest. Mmmm, thigh.

Really, when it comes to dS, there's nothing that brings out the squee faster than Ray (usually K, but really either) talking to Dief. Because while we all talk to our pets, it's such an insanely crackheaded thing to have *conversations* with them--okay, I do that too, but here's the thing. Nobody else listens to me talk to Cante and then talks to her too. But Fraser gets people to do that! How freaking much does that say about his force of will? Christ.

And my other fannish glee moment is this particular icon. (Michael Weatherly in NCIS.) Men and their guns, man. Men and their guns.

PG/CKR/MP movie? This is also my dream. Good god the hotness of that would kill me, but what a way to go.

Fraser's boot in Gerard's chest is one of my favorite moments. So is Fraser on the telephone poll talking to RayV - that whole "As a friend?" "Yeah. As a friend." part gets me every damn time.

I also love in "Asylum" when Ray runs through the doors of the Consulate and falls to his knees. I get shivery and my mouth drops open and I turn to goo.

And in Men With Brooms when PG slides across the ice to talk to MP and he's wearing those snug black pants and sweater (see icon) that for some reason is the sexiest thing ever (next to the Mountie uniforms). And the way he looks at her and ... yeah.

Oh, also in MWB, when PG and LN are standing at the grave site and they hold hands for just a second then pull apart. And then PG gets in the truck and just looks at MP. Stomach dropping moment.
