People, I come to you, as I so often do, in my hour of need. My reading yesterday has inspired in me a deep craving, one that can be most succinctly framed as follows:

"Mmmmmmmm, genderfuck."

"X turns into the opposite sex", fun with strap-ons, whatever -- whatever's making your het pairing have queer sex, or your slash pairing have het-ish sex, I'm interested. Links from any fandoms would be most welcome at this juncture.

(I suspect I've read pretty much everything in this genre in due South already, but that's okay; I totally don't mind being reminded. And this entry totally was not designed as a coded sniffly reminder to Nifra about her dS wip, but since the opportunity is so clearly here, I shall sniffle plaintively in her direction.

Actually, there should be more dS genderfuck. JUST FOR ME. Wasn't someone talking about a story where both RayK and Fraser turn into girls, and there is femslashy goodness? Or there's always RayK dealing with being a woman, which of course brings up the whole "vast pissiness" factor; I sort of like the idea of the end of his first day, when he gets back to his apartment and head straight to his bedroom to strip belligerently out of these awful confusing uncomfortable goddamn clothes, bitching to Fraser all the while, while Fraser just stands there, until Ray's down to his bra and pants and Fraser steps forward to stand behind Ray, and wraps one arm around his waist and bring his other warm strong hand up to the cotton covering the curve of Ray's breast, and Ray sucks in a startled breath and goes completely still for a second.

Or not. Whatever. You get my point!)

The HP pornish_pixies had a whole challenge dedicated to this a while ago. oh! it's, um. jack works for the CIA. nina did too. but really she was a seriously awful traitor who killed his wife. this opens after the wife-killing, and flashes back to when he and the wife were separated, and jack and nina had a relationship. that much is canon.

also, i remembered that i wrote an nsync thing that was, really, my great attempt at a genderqueered story where no one actually turned into a girl: http://wearemany.net/tiff/madchen.html . my personal favorite nslash girlfic is still synchronik's trade, http://www.puppyshelter.org/joeseats/stories/trade.html . it's not something i read much in other fandoms, though, except for adding my voice to the rec for rivka's one up above.
