For some reason, whenever I try to write the name of the latest [livejournal.com profile] ds_flashfiction challenge, it comes out as "fuck and die" instead. Which is a rather different challenge, and really a much more depressing one. Hee. (I bet [livejournal.com profile] katallison could dominate that, actually.)

I am cranky and awaiting parental yapping. I think the solution is to return to checking the flist for porn. Yes.

No, Kat's waiting for the "Fuck *and* Die" challenge.

(Disclaimer: I love Kat. I love Kat's stories. Really!!!)

Can I just plead lack of sleep?

Or...like...delete my post?

Nah. I'll leave it up as a testament to bad reading skills. *g*

Well, I can handle the "die" part; it's the fucking that gives me problems. (So to speak.)

(And hey Pearl! I am at this very moment sitting and typing at the dining table in a dorm room at TESC! A really *ugly* dorm room, if I may say so. The Strange and Bizarre Saga of my week at the Summer Institute shall be posted at some point when I have (a) dependable internet access [*bitchslapping ResNet*] and (b) a table that does not wobble like a sonofabitch.)

You know, I was at TESC for a full year, and I'm not sure I ever saw a single dorm room there that wasn't really ugly. They were really very fond of the 60s/70s architecture.
