Also, the sister made me watch Saved! for the first time, as apparently it is now one of her favoritest movies. I didn't love it the way she does, but it was enjoyable enough.

Several things:

1) Adorable Boy from Almost Famous is really not growing up pretty. Sigh.

2) This kind of would actually be a good movie for fic, just because most of the character off on the side seem to be more interesting than the central story. 2a) Macaulay Culkin and Susan Sarandon's daughter made a really cute couple.

3) When looking up the movie on imdb.com just now, I just found out for the first time that Jena Malone is playing Lydia Bennet in the Pride and Prejudice that Keira Knightley's Elizabeth for. Apparently Donald Sutherland is Mr. Bennet. Huh.

I saw the movie, and, while it wasn't the best movie ever, it was an amusing way to spend a couple of hours. I totally agree about 2a) - and I really loved both of their characters in the movie. I was surprised to find myself liking Macaulay Culkin, too.

The whole remake is just scaring me no end. Keira Knightly is so wrong for the role of Elizabeth. The only saving grace is Matthew Macfadyen - who I think will make a good Darcy.

And also, I like Keira Knightly too. Just not for the role of Elizabeth Bennett. I like Keira Knightly, but I love Pride and Prejudice.
