I continue to play [livejournal.com profile] china_shop's game of reworking everything into a due South Fraser/Kowalski story in my head. Discussion with Lyra this afternoon has led me to the conclusion that is now time for a poll.

Nuh uh uh. Fraser as Darcy, Ray as Bingley. Though that does all sorts of odd things where Maggie is Georgiana and Wickham is played by Holloway Muldoon or something.

Personality-wise, Frannie's closest to Kitty, I think, and the idea of Bennetts = Vecchios is kind of fun.

Turnbull, oddly enough, is a close match personality-wise for Sir William Lucas.

Hah. OK, here it is.

Frannie Vecchio and her family live at Meryton. All the Vecchio girls are excited when a new detachment of mounties, errr, I mean militia, move into the neighbourhood. But Frannie's got her eye on the friend of the man who's just moved in to Netherfield. Only he's not interested and seems to spend all his time hanging out with his friend Bingley.

Dief might be a horse.

See, the only problem I have with Fraser as Darcy is that Fraser is actually the one who's good with people -- I mean, on the polite and courteous surface part, people adore Fraser. Ray's the one who's an asshole, you know?

Dief might be a horse.

For some reason, this line made me truly ridiculously happy.

Yeah, but he's got stiffness and inner angst. And a dead father.

Fraser would be better in Dickens or Shakesphere.

Ray...well Ray belongs in Teynson.
