13. I made carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and they are SUPER GOOD. Actually, the frosting is so tasty that it's a little sickening. I mean, I just saw myself beat the hunk of cream cheese together with a disgusting amount of powdered sugar -- and yet knowing this does not make it less tasty.

14. moireach and I have formed a new club! She says I can be secretary. Topics on the table include: hot girls; incest; Buffy/Giles and other approved pairings involving Joss Whedon characters.

15. Last night I got a chance to slag off my favorite hated dS fic to people who had never heard my rant on it before. Hee.

16. cesperanza wrote new due South fic! Yay! As I mentioned to Lale earlier, my favorite part of this is when Ray gets smacked upside the head.

17. Speaking of lalejandra, she gets a number all to herself. Because she wins JUST THAT MUCH.

I would totally try to think of a way to write that -- like--

Frannie didn't think wishing on a star really worked. If she'd ever believed it would work, she would have wished for something better. Like she would have wished that she'd never made an idiot out of herself to begin with, like she would have wished that her brother had never tried to be a nice guy and have a manly chat with Fraser, like she would have wished that the whole world was different and that the cuppacino machine always worked and that Lieutenant Welsh realized what a real contribution she made to his station house.

But no. Frannie had to go and wish for a spaceship to take her off this horrible planet.

i am almost embarrassed that i love frannie/welsh SO MUCH.

i think welsh feels really bad for frannie, like if she stopped being so obsessed with finding her self-worth through men, she'd be worth a lot more. and he feels even WORSE because he could SHOW HER, but that would be taking advantage AND giving her self-worth through a man, plus he's practically old enough to be her father, and he rides a desk, and he knows he's a good man, but he's just not what she wants, and he hates that, because he likes her a lot, despite himself. poor welsh!

HAHAHAHA, also? I just watched North again with my sister and there's this, like, three second scene in Chicago at one point after Ray and Fraser have gotten lost, and it's the moon and then Frannie staring at the moon outside and then passing Welsh who is standing outside their house drinking coffee, and I was watching it and I was all OMG FRANNIE/WELSH OTP SUBTEXT ANNA MUST BE INFORMED!!!!

Also, Fraser is totally crazy in this episode.

I need to see that episode. Except I can't watch dS at my mother's house b/c then my sisters will see it out of order, and my DAD was like, "we should all watch due south together! in order! for a week!" and i was like, "whoa, take a breath!"

i totally should have milked this birthday thing and been like I AM 25! WRITE ME PORN!

but then a bunch of annoying bad writers would have written me porn that sucked a lot and i would have slagged them off and been like, "wow, thanks for thinking of me," and there would have been a kerfuffle, so in the end, it's best that we just reread "an admirable solution" and "wedge" and um. um. you know. other stories!

Also, it is a DAY AND A HALF LATER and I STILL WANT PORN and it is SAD. Last night I was forced to resort to reading lots and lots of Ray/Ray! The fact that it is hot does not completely erase my shame.
