Today speshope and I made a Best Buy run while we were down at the mall to see Madagascar. While there, I picked up the first season of due South for $18.99.

I repeat: I bought the first season for under twenty fucking dollars.

Considering the price has been well over one hundred dollars every time I have ever seen it before? This is cause for my dance of joy. Not to mention the set includes the pilot, has single-sided discs instead of double-sided, and has "Victoria's Secret" all on the same disc.

TONIGHT I CELEBRATE. OH YEAH.

Also, did you see the other Very Important news item on that page? Season 4 may be available in September. This coming September. Of course, this is Alliance Atlantis we're dealing with, so it'll probably be September of 2007, but they've actually set a date!

Heh. I haven't been able to afford the s3 dvds yet, either, but my copies of season 3 and 4 are in pretty good condition, whereas my Vecchio tapes were crumnbling to dust in my hands.
