Hee. I wrote a big long email to stumbledhere this evening about how bored I was during it.
wow, the season one finale of atlantis is the MOST BORING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. my goodness gracious. it was like "now we run around some more! now we make stupid plans! now we shoot things! blah BLAH BLAH BLAH."
it reminds me of those stories that half your friends list raves about because "they're plotty! yay someone writing plotty fic! everybody loves plottiness!" and sekritly in your head you suspect that "plotty" is actually a fic code word for "OMG STAB-YOUR-EYES-OUT BORING!!!" and people are just really stupid.
maybe that's just me.
It was just. Man. It was all the boring filler parts I usually fast forward through without the fun character stuff and snarky bitchery! How much do I NOT CARE about the ten minute long battle sequences, you know?
*nodnod* I'm fairly easy to entertain, because I'll happily watch things explode for any length of time, but I really missed the lack of good character stuff. Siege III has more of that, but there's also even *more* boring plot/battle crap.
(And man, I hate plotty fic, too. I can never understand it, and then I feel extremely dumb.)
