you know how sometimes you'll be somewhere public, and the radio or muzak or something is playing, and all of a sudden you realize that not only are you singing along under your breath, but so is the person who's standing or sitting or shimmying next to you? i know we have all had this experience.
well, i ask you, what could be better than realizing that literally EVERYONE IN YOUR OFFICE is doing this very thing, and not only that, but they are all singing along under their breath to "I TOUCH MYSELF"?
NOTHING IN THE WORLD COULD BE BETTER. NOTHING AT ALL, THAT'S WHAT. *wheezes with laughter*

the movie was pretty hot (and yay for dr cameron), though i have to say that brad & angelina are both that strange sort of attractive where they're gorgeous in some shots and in the next they sort of resemble aliens.

If it wasn't for that fandom, I wouldn't have THIS fandom, and I feel oddly guilty for like, pretending that I don't remember that they exist, or something. I feel like some mean big mama duck leaving the ugliest chicklet to die because it's not cute and fluffy and yellow.

i had two immediate thoughts about this:
1. the rule is that no one is to touch my settings on the tivo. battlestar galactica and stargate atlantis must record every single friday, or someone dies. ditto with house on tuesdays, and gray's anatomy on sundays. and rachael ray, and good eats, and iron chef america.
2. OTHER PEOPLE TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH YES I WIN

I'm totally ready to write Fraser now. I bought a reprint of the US Army survival manual. I now know which plants are edible, which snakes not to bite, and how to build any number of things up to and including a brush raft, a meat smoker, and a squirrel pole. I am so set.

Math!bro was in fine form today, hyper and bored and harrassing me all day like we're still eight years old. He did impressions of the dog. He made fun of my "internet friends" whenswmbo and flowery_twat texted me. When I wrote in my journal for awhile, he was like, "I thought you had an ONLINE journal for that", and after I glared at him, he composed hypothetical journal entries for me, all of which ended with "Yay!" or occasionally "Boo!" When I was trying to sleep, he poked my arm to show me "how cute the dog was being." The dog at that moment was doing absolutely nothing. He also composed a hypothetical fanfic that involved Mulder and Scully, Jean-Luc Picard, Sandy Cohen, Darth Vader, Buffy, and the SVU detectives, who were called in because "vampires are special victims." When I told him that I hate him, he said that I could feel free to use that plot if I wanted and that I didn't even have to credit him.

We are drunke! Well, I am druynk! But that's okay! Cause we're watching Stargate Atlantis and it's so great! Beacuse Rodney is so cute and John is so hot!

So they filled my cavities while my eye teared up from behind the day-late-dollar-short safety glasses they put on me when I sat back down, and afterward, I noticed that my teeth felt... funny. Sort of. Etched. Possibly because they were bathed in that mouthful of acid while I was focusing on saving my cornea. No word yet on what kind of discount I can expect on my dental care, but I'm thinking steep.
