Okay, so I only just started the Old 97's DVD, but I have to say, the editing choices are kind of cracking me a little so far. It's EXTREME CLOSE-UP CITY. I mean, Rhett Miller is way cute and all, but I'm not sure I needed this close a relationship with his pores, you know?

Dude, every single time they moved the camera far enough away to see Rhett Miller's dance skills, a little voice in my head went "skinny boy hips!!!" That is not a thought I ever would have had on my own. That is ALL YOU.

Also, I just learned for the first time tonight that the chick who sings duet on "Four Leaf Clover" is Viggo Mortenson's ex-wife. And then I was like "Omigod!" And then a second later I was like, "Wait. I don't like Viggo. Why do I care?"

i still don't have the dvd, but i crave it. there's a poster for it in the window of the record store i walk by to get to school, and i think about going in and buying it every time i see it. i really should, one of these days.
