Um, possibly I am alone in this, but does anybody else tend to find that exchange totally bizarre every time they watch this episode? Off the top of my head, I can't think of another instance of either of them making reference to Victoria's Secret during season two, for one thing. And for another -- man, the way Fraser says that line, it's like it could be anything at all. His last miscalculation could have been forgetting to bring an umbrella on a day when it was likely to rain, or accidentally putting his favorite sweater in the drier.

i kind of feel like that's what he was going for, like it's this huge pink elephant in their living room and he's fishing for some casual way to drop it into conversation. sure, he could be hesitating while he remembers when the last time he fucked up was, but this is fraser -- you don't think he keeps an encyclopedia of his perceived fuck-ups at his fingertips? no, i hear it as he's hesitating over whether he's got the nerve to say something like this out loud to vecchio....

Ooh, you know, that makes sense! And makes Vecchio's reaction all the more interesting, because he just basically ignores it, too. Hmm.
