1. I spent several days last week devouring all of peter_and_fran like the crack it is. LotR cast as part of crazy indie folk rock collective reuniting! Multimedia fun! Woot!

2. mollita wrote a Firefly AU that takes place in the present day, in a ranch in Montana, and it makes PERFECT SENSE and is AWESOME and there is Mal/River and it makes flail like an IDIOT. Go read!

3. Excerpt from email sent to stumbledhere last night: maybe i will write a due south au of lion in winter. ray would probably be a sucky henry ii, but fraser would be an AWESOME eleanor of aquitaine.

4. This icon never fails to make me happy whenever I use it. They are SECRET MOUNTIES. My keywords are "ds: secret mountie au". Do you know how many things could be made into a secret mountie au? EVERYTHING.
