Dude. Seriously. What is up with fandom this week, people???

Between the stupid boy response to cereta post (see liviapenn's gorgeous new default icon, for one thing) and then all the recent posts by twinkledru and fox1013 and hesychasm and ficbyzee and wow, the fact that I just read a comment by someone calling a female character a little slut in a way that appears to be both perjorative and totally irony-free--

Jesus, people. Was there a special on feminist rage at the store this week or something? Because I AM OVERFLOWING WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS HERE.

I didn't get through the comments on Cereta's post -- what sort of stupid things were the men saying (same as in the fanficrants kerfuffle?).

But seriously, that fanficrants kerfuffle just made feminist_rage, so there you are.

Um, I don't read fanficrants, so I'm not sure. It mostly boiled down to boys complaining about not being privileged enough and crazy feminists, though.
