On an unrelated note, I am back safe and sound in my apartment, both worn out and still kind of wound up from Crazy Portland Hijinks Day. I got to see liviapenn again (yay!) and to meet and hang out with both ficbyzee and runpunkrun (more yay!). There was a good deal of caffeine and junk food, a huge amount of mocking, and a ridiculous amount of media consumption, including:

+ The "good parts" of episode 15-22 of Veronica Mars -- Zee has crazy pimping skills, yo, because she made Livia's eyes all crazy and whirly without the benefit of aliens, zombies, or superpowers of any kinds. I don't know how she did it!

+ Episode 4, 5, and 9 of Grey's Anatomy, plus the "George's sugar daddy" and "George and Izzie are adorable" scenes from episode 3. Zee and Livia decided they love Izzie and George, Sandra Oh and Bailey are too awesome to live, Cristina/Burke is the hotass, Meredith is boring, and McDreamy needs to be stabbed in the face. I win at life!

+ due South! "Hunting Season" because neither Punk nor Zee had seen it, and The Wild Bunch, which Zee and Livia hadn't seen. FRASER YOU ARE MY WOOBIE. PS YOU AND RAYK ARE TOTALLY GAY AND MALADJUSTED FOR EACH OTHER. Also, bloopers, which I have seen so many times that I start laughing at the set-up instead of the actual funny bits.

+ A couple really gay Bright/Ephram-y bits of Everwood! Hee.

+ We walked down to the movie theater to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but, uh, we are dumb and didn't check ahead of time and it was totally sold out.

+ Lots and lots of vids. Woot!

And, uh, then we actually got some sleep in there. And walked around, and ate breakfast at a diner, and made Livia tell us lots of porny stories on demand. All in all, AWESOMENESS (even if Livia did abandon me to rot in the train station instead of coming to meet me).

I did almost panic and call you when I was wandering around walking because I didn't remember where the bus stop was? But then I realized that even if I didn't figure it out, it just meant I would have to walk to the Eugene Station instead, and even I could probably manage that successfully. Especially since the streets are numbered. And then I found the bus stop anyway, and it all worked out fine!
