1) I have now seen the pilot and first five episodes of "Arrested Development", and it is brilliant, funny, original and incredibly incest-y. What's not to love?

2) Yesterday I also watched SGA 2x12. I can't help thinking the ideas behind this went something like "Hey, you know what would be cool? Let's make Sheppard grow a BEARD and make him live in a CULT. That'd be awesome!" So, uh, yeah. I liked Rodney (although, wow, Conan and Xena barb = way out of line). But he did that thing where he pointed and clicked his tongue! And Ronon was all, "cool." Heh.

3) It occurs to me after the fact that posting my weird Vecchio/Fraser/Kowalski pwp in the middle of the night in a weekend in December is possibly limiting my audience to a rather large degree.

4) Over the last two days I have read approximately 500 Dinosaur Comics strips. AWESOME.

5) Hey, was Fraser's baby sister really the original Elizabeth Weir on SG1?

6) I thought I had something really important to put here, but I cannot remember what it is at all. So instead, um. More picspam!

I did it, I canceled Arrested Development. I am very sorry. But they kept playing episodes down in the law student lounge, and I thought "Hey, this is pretty good," and then I thought "Hey, I should put this in my Netflix queue so I can catch up and start watching it in real-time," and then the next week I was going to watch the first-run episode and FOX canceled it.

I also canceled Firefly (the episode I announced "OK, this show has me totally hooked!" was the last episode aired because they yanked it two days later), and, I'm afraid, managed to get Bones moved to a slot up against LOST next season by saying last Tuesday "I officially love this show, which means FOX will be cancelling it any day now."

Given my psychic link with FOX, you'd think all the waves I've been sending re: Stacked would get through, but not so much.

Good god! You're right. Jessica Steen, aka the original Weir, was Fraser's sister! I didn't even recognize her as Maggie. She's so much sassier as Weir.

IMDb also lets us know that she was in Slap Shot 2 with CKR.

Arrested Development keeps getting more clever, twisted, hilarious and incest-y as time goes on. It's gotten to the point that now, in the 3rd season, I can barely hear half the lines because I'm laughing too hard.

So, of course, Fox cancels it. *sigh*
