So, I am still ridiculously, ridiculously sick, as it has been gradually getting worse since Christmas, and my family is vaguely annoyed with me for not wanting to go to the doctor. This is not because I am tough and macho and all "doctors are for WIMPS, I will cure MYSELF" but rather because I have doctor fear and get all panicky and need to go hide under lots of blankets whenever the topic comes up. Feeling better forever vs. ONE VISIT OF DOOM = easy decision for me! Just, you know. The wrong one. Especially since my doctor is the nicest guy ever.

But! Despite the week of coughing and hacking and sleeping, yesterday was actually a lot of fun, because I got to venture out into the world and meet roz_mcclure. Here is the thing: however you cute you think she might be from her lj, in real life she is actually a GAZILLION times more adorable. It is kind of ridiculous! We ate cupcakes at Borders and looked at pictures of hot Anna Popplewell in the Narnia visual companion, and then we went to the movies and saw the movie -- my first time, her, like, seventeenth -- and it was very very pretty and I enjoyed it! And then I was totally crashing like a pathetic sick person, and went home and slept for 16 hours. GOOD TIMES!

That New Year's Resolution meme says I should get a carnivorous fish in 2006. I think if I did that, it would make fox1013 cry.

I am still going through the yuletide stories very very very slowly, but I think I was pleased most by the Rome, Deadwood, and Grey's Anatomy stories, because they are much beloved by me, and I was craving fic like WHOA, and some really good stuff came out of it for all of them. Oh, and I liked the Saved! and Brokeback Mountain and Hilary Tamar ones I read, too.

I am kind of hungry. You people should tell me porny things. Or link to pretty pictures.
