And yes, the pre-Vegas Ray is the best, IMO. It's not that I find post-Vegas!RayV boring, like you do (although I do sympathize with you there), it's just ... that's not the Ray I fell in love with on the show, and it's not really the Ray I want to read about. You said "I don't want all his edges sharpened and made hard! I love him the way he is!" And - yes. That's it.

There should be more pre-Vegas-era RayV fic. Yes indeed.

Oh, and *waves* hi. :) I lurk here a lot, cause you're funny and smart and write excellent fic and I enjoy your dS ramblings quite a bit.
