It's weird, though, because like I said, I really do like a lot her movies! Like, she kicks ass in The Royal Tenenbaums, and I thought she was pretty good in Sky Captain and Sliding Doors and Shakespeare in Love. So, yes. Weird!

I think I'm irritated that she got the lead in Proof when, just... she is so damn *frail*-looking and *blonde* and I doubt she has the acting chutzpah to be as crazy and brash as the part required. I haven't seen the movie, though, so *shrug*
