Tonight's picspam of choice: "We Are the Eggmen". And, uh, there's a LOT of picspam, because ... dude. Not only does this have Frannie AND Thatcher AND pretty Fraser, but Fraser is ridiculously pretty. Horribly pretty. Like, UNHOLY levels of prettiness, we're talking here.
Also, this episode is much more fun now that I'm stuck on "inexplicably cute" mode with the Thatcher and Fraser.

The beginning scene here is my flat out most favorite Fraser and Diefenbaker scene in the entire series, bar none. It even beats the entirety of The Wild Bunch.

Lookit his LITTLE FACE! He was just trying to help! Aww.

I like her hair in the slightly-less-flippy style here.

Okay, that pouty look is a complete accident of when I clicked, I'm pretty sure, but it cracks me up anyway. Also, I never noticed Ramona Milano's arms being that skinny before, wow.

Heee. Oh, Frannie.

Man, Fraser is awesome at the subtle guilt trip. And Ray Vecchio falls for it every time.

So pretty! So confused!

Yes, he is ironing his boxers here.

So fucking pretty.

Aww, Thatcher. This is one of the scenes that demonstrates most clearly why her character in s3/4 makes no sense whatsoever.

"Oh, now I get it. In spite of the fact that he filed a law suit against you, you believe you can show him the error of his way, appeal to his conscience and save his soul for the pure pursuit of his god given talent." Heeee. She knows him so well!

"All the other cars feel threatened" = THERE IS NO MORE CUTE TO BE. Also, I like how he's so perfectly sincere at the end after Thatcher's already stomped off.

Aw, VECCHIO!

Man, it was really hard to get clear caps of a lot of shots in this episode -- they kept moving the camera around a whole lot. It was very strange.

"Take off your tunic, Constable, that's an order."

Seriously, I know Fraser's ALWAYS pretty, but even compared to his own usual levels, this is just insane.

Awwwww. *pets the canon het UST*

Dude, Thatcher has skills.

And then we end with the Vecchios being adorable and impoverished. Hee.

6/2/06 08:44 (UTC)Seriously! My GOD. Did he make a pact with the devil or something? And dude, I was very sad that both Frannie and Thatcher had shorter hair in later seasons. For both of them, you can really see how healthy their hair is at these lengths. Gah, gorgeous.

I just saw this episode for the first time on Saturday, and I'm thrilled to see caps here now!

6/2/06 14:10 (UTC)On an unrelated note, your icon rocks my world. Fraser in a suit or spy gear pretty much does it for me.

7/2/06 06:07 (UTC)But also: the egg man just cracks my shit up. I love him.
Also, this is the *best* Thatcher episode ever. In fact, usually I try to pretend all the other Thatchers never happened.
She's allowed to wear the hat, though.
